Terms of Service

Last updated: May 24, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using LaunchVideo.app (“Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

LaunchVideo provides AI-powered workflows for generating product videos. The Service includes:

  • Submitting product URLs and text descriptions as input
  • Scraping, screenshot capture, and branding extraction for submitted URLs
  • AI-generated scripts, voiceovers, scene visuals, and refinement
  • Cloud rendering and download of MP4 videos at 1080p or 4K
  • Public share pages for exported videos, including social previews and search discovery
  • Project management, chat history, and a public showcase gallery curated by us
  • Server-side error monitoring, and — only with your consent via the cookie banner — aggregate site analytics

3. Accounts and Security

You are responsible for activities under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You may authenticate with email and password, or with Google or GitHub OAuth. We may require email verification before granting access to certain features.

4. Your Content and License

You retain ownership of content you submit, including URLs, descriptions, screenshots, scripts, voiceovers, and rendered videos.

You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to process your submitted content solely to provide the Service — including scraping the URLs you submit, sending them to our AI and rendering sub-processors, and storing and delivering the resulting outputs to you.

If you create or keep a share link public, you also grant us permission to host, display, distribute, and make that public video page available to visitors, search engines, social platforms, and preview crawlers.

You represent that you have the rights to submit any URL, content, or branding you provide, and that processing it through the Service does not infringe on any third party's rights.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive activity
  • Submit URLs or content you do not have rights or permission to use
  • Generate videos that infringe intellectual property or privacy rights of others
  • Generate content that is defamatory, harassing, sexually explicit involving minors, or that promotes violence or hate against a protected group
  • Attempt to bypass plan limits, abuse credit refunds, or exploit billing logic
  • Interfere with platform operations, security, or availability
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from our systems, APIs, or scene bundles

6. Plans, Billing, and Credits

Paid features are processed through Stripe. Subscriptions bill monthly and auto-renew unless canceled before the next renewal. Plan limits and credit usage are enforced by the Service. Current pricing and credit costs per action are listed on the pricing page.

  • Credits are pre-deducted at the start of each chargeable action (such as scene generation or video export). Subscription credits are spent before purchased pack credits.
  • Subscription credits are granted monthly and reset at the end of each billing period — they do not roll over.
  • Credit pack purchases never expire and are non-refundable.
  • On subscription cancellation, you keep access through the end of the paid period; subscription credits are zeroed at period end, and purchased pack credits remain available.
  • Credits pre-deducted for a task are automatically refunded to your purchased credit bucket if a scene fails permanently, an export fails, or you reset the pipeline.
  • On free accounts, exported videos include a LaunchVideo watermark; paid plans render unwatermarked output by default.

Unless required by law, payments are non-refundable. Pricing, credit costs, and plan limits may change with reasonable notice.

7. AI Outputs and Disclaimer

The Service uses AI systems (currently Google Gemini via Vertex AI) and may produce incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate outputs. You are responsible for reviewing and approving all generated content before publishing or using it.

Voiceover audio is synthesized; we do not promise that any generated voice is suitable for any particular use case, jurisdiction, or platform. You are responsible for ensuring the final video complies with applicable laws and the terms of any platform on which you publish it.

8. Sub-Processors and Third Parties

We rely on third-party providers to deliver the Service, including Google Cloud Vertex AI (Gemini), Firecrawl, AWS (Remotion Lambda), Cloudflare R2, Stripe, Resend, Sentry, and optionally Google Analytics. Their handling of data is described in our Privacy Policy and is governed by their own terms.

9. Availability and Changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or misuse of the Service. You may delete your account at any time through available product settings.

11. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

12. Contact
