Changelog 01: Prompt Mode, Sound, and Share Links

When Public Beta opened, we braced for a trickle. We got a flood: people pasting URLs we never would have thought to test, asking for things we'd half-planned and a few we hadn't planned at all.
Thank you. Genuinely. Every retry, every "can it do X," every screenshot that landed in our inbox told us exactly where the product was still thin.
This is the first changelog. Three of the things you asked for most, now live.
1. Prompt mode
Until now, LaunchVideo started in exactly one place: a URL. That's still the fastest path when you already have a live site. But not every idea has a landing page yet.
So we added a second way in.
A URL anchors the video to what your product already is. A prompt frees it to be whatever you can describe. Pitch a feature that ships next month. Tease a concept that has no page yet. Build the video for the thing that, for now, lives only in your head.
The engine underneath is the same one that reads websites. It drafts a script, plans the scenes, picks a direction, and voices the whole thing. The only difference is what you feed it: intent instead of a link.
2. Music and voice
A launch video lives or dies on its sound. The right track sets the mood before a single word lands. The right voice makes the script sound like it came from you.
Music. Choose from a set of built-in tracks, or upload your own to hit the exact mood you're after. Calm and considered, quick and punchy, cinematic and wide. Whatever you pick sits under the voice-over and the motion, mixed so nothing has to fight to be heard.
Voice. Match the narration to your audience. US or UK. Male or female. Every option comes with a sample you can play before you decide, so you choose with your ears instead of guessing from a name.
3. Share links
A finished video isn't really finished until someone watches it. Export used to hand you a file. Now it hands you a link too.
Every export now mints a public page of its own at launchvideo.app/share. Send it in a DM, drop it in a Product Hunt comment, paste it into the group chat where your launch is happening. Whoever opens it watches right there: no download, no login, nothing to install.
The MP4 is still yours to keep. The link is just the shortest distance between "it's ready" and someone actually seeing it.
Keep it coming
Every one of these started as a message from someone using the product. The plan from here is more of the same: you tell us where it's thin, we go fill it in.
So keep it coming. Paste a URL or start from a prompt at LaunchVideo.app, and tell us what you want to see in Changelog 02.
